A steady climb on road before tackling an off-road section to Akeld. The route then follows predominately quiet roads.

Distance - 27 miles

Time (approx) - 3 to 4 hours
Level - Beginner/Intermediate

Pit stop - Take a slight detour to visit the
Maelmin Cafe in Milfield. 
A fantastic route which heads in to the hills offering some spectacular views.

Distance - 20 miles

Time (approx) - 3 to 4 hours
Level - Intermediate

Pit stop - Take a detour to visit the
Ingram Cafe. To do this do not turn right off route 68, stay on route 68 all the way to Ingram.
There's some tough sections on this one. Please be aware that there are some footpath sections, respect the countryside code and dismount.

Time (approx) - 3 to 4 hours
Level - Intermediate/Competent 

Pit stop - Take your own snacks for this one.
A route predominantly on quiet roads, giving you a taste of Cycle Route 68 and Cycle Route 1. 

Distance - 35 miles
Bike - Como, Levo, Vado
Time (approx) - 4 to 5 hours

Pit stop - A couple of pubs in Lowick to grab a bite to eat,
The Black Bull and the White Swan.
Follow Cycle Route 68 to Ingram, then head back to Wooler on quiet roads.

Distance - 28.5 miles
Bike - Como, Levo, Vado
Time (approx) - 3 to 4 hours

Pit stop - Visit the wonderful
Ingram Cafe.
Take a ride to the historical Ad Gefrin site, the perfect way to round off your trip if you've visited the Ad Gefrin Distillery.

Distance - 14.5 miles
Bike - Levo
Time (approx) - 2 to 3 hours

Pit stop - Take a packed lunch for this one.
You'll need a full day for this one as you hit Cycle Route 68 all the way to Scotland before heading back on quiet roads.

Distance - 57 miles
Bike - Como, Levo, Vado
Time (approx) - 6 to 8 hours

Pit stop - Plenty stops on this one, search Ford, Norham, Coldstream.
Take a ride across the Union Chain Bridge, originally opened in 1820, following a major update the bridge was reopened in the 2020's.

Distance - 45 miles
Bike - Como, Levo, Vado
Time (approx) - 5 to 7 hours

Pit stop - Be sure to stop at
Chain Bridge Honey Farm's unique cafe.
